MEET FLORIE DEROUET

Career Development Coach, Consultant, and Facilitator, I support professionals in transition or working in multicultural contexts.

With 15 years of professional experience in France, Australia, Singapore and the United Kingdom, I have worked within multinationals and start-ups in finance, consulting and project management before transitioning to personal and professional development.

My career has allowed me to see the challenges that professionals face when changing positions within the same company or elsewhere: loss of direction, self-confidence, stress. That’s why I decided to support them throughout their careers.

Trained in coaching and certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I joined the company Developing Global Leaders in Singapore in 2020, where I specialized in training and consulting in Diversity and Inclusion.

At the same time, I created and implemented a coaching program within the women's professional association PrimeTime in order to support women in their career development, as well as a Women's Leadership program with PWN London.

In my spare time, I am also a singer, composer, and author of the book “J'ai décidé de faire le Tour du Monde” published by Editions Amalthées.

My specializations are: Career transition, International career development, Cultural diversity, Women's leadership, New managers.

I offer coaching, consulting, and training services in English and French.

I firmly believe that through fostering togetherness and demonstrating genuine concern for one another, we can contribute to a better world.

My empathetic nature runs deep; I possess a profound understanding of those around me and can genuinely connect with their experiences.

As a coach, I assist my clients in delving into their true emotions without judgment. I share their perspective. I value their emotions and help them give voice to it.

Passionate

I have led diverse lives, driven by a passion for exploration and a commitment to maximizing the journey that is life. Throughout my years, I have worn many hats, including roles as a financial auditor, consultant, or marketing manager. But I've also pursued my creative side as a singer, songwriter, and author.

I firmly believe that our identities are not solely defined by our jobs; rather, it's through engaging in various activities that we can discover our inner selves and find fulfillment.

My diverse life experiences and perspective make me a valuable resource in guiding my clients navigate their own journeys. I empower them to explore different facets of their lives, discover their true selves, and find fulfillment in various areas beyond their careers.

Explorer

My first solo trip abroad happened at age 13 in Cork, Ireland, despite my limited English.

At 19, I embarked on a 6-month adventure in Chile to study management, igniting my passion for living in foreign lands.

In my late twenties, I finally left my native country, France, and embraced the expat lifestyle, embarking on a 9-month global adventure before establishing myself in Australia, Singapore, and later, England.

These experiences broaden my horizons and get me to encourage my clients to explore new perspectives, challenge their assumptions, and embrace change.
